Human Influence
Positive: In many of the plants and animals found in the tropics are usable medicines we can benefit from. They range from over the counter prescription drugs to cancer fighting remedies that could save many lives in the long run.
Negative: Humans have influenced rain forests in a negative way by a process called deforestation. Deforestation is where humans cut down forests for other purposes such as using the land for crops. What people don't know is that rain forests have very nutrient poor soil, which is very bad for crops, and once the forest is cut down, it will not grow back.

Solutions to Deforestation
The most affective way to get rid of deforestation is to ban it all together in all countries where it is a big problem. The government could also take action making laws and rules against it. Although the only reason people do it is because of money. People will do what ever it takes to get money no matter what they are hurting.
