This graph (left) is showing the average temperatures and average precipitation. According to the chart, the average temperature is about 27° Celsius which is about 80° Fahrenheit. The chart also shows that the average precipitation amount is about 18 cm, which is about 7 inches!
The type of soil that is found here is often lacking in nutrients. Here there are only two distinct seasons, winter and summer. These two seasons last about 6 months each with transitional periods in between.
In the tropical rain forest, the biodiversity is very high. There is an abundant amount of diversity in all of the species you will find in the tropical rain forest.
In the tropical rainforest there are over 15 million biotic factors. Some examples of this include jaguar, anteater, lemur, and some plants are bamboo, banana trees, rubber trees, and many other tropical fruit trees.

To the left is a rafflesia flower. One of the adaptions that it has to make is that it has to make itself smell like a decaying corpse. They do this to attract flies and keep away animals and also humans. That is also how they interact with other animals, they eat flies and try to stay away from humans and other predators because it is becoming endangered.
